I took my car to Kwik Fit Bristol Road Gloucester today and was served and helped by Jason. He couldn’t have been more helpful to fit me in to ensure that I’ve got my car sorted as quickly as possible to get back on the road as I don’t live in the Gloucester area. Excellent and professional service, thank you

Great price and service.

Having researched the prices online, Kwik Fit were the best price for my tyres so opted for home fitting.The fitter was on time and gave me a cal to let me know he was in his way.The service was excellent and the fitter friendly and personable.I would recommend this service.

Great service

Great service, saved me having to take car back to the garage to have the tyres changed having been flagged during the MOT. Engineer was great, cheerful & helpful. Can’t ask for more

Second time using mobile

Second time using mobile. First time had problems with van meaning it came very late. Second time have wrong tyres with appointment moving from Saturday to Wednesday. Two failures out of two, not good!!

Flat tyre

Got a flat due to a screw puncturing the tyre. Booked online for a new one to be fitted and they came out the next day but, unfortunately, with the wrong size tyre. However, they arranged for someone to fit the correct size tyre two days later (on a Sunday). He was quick and efficient so would recommend to anyone. Overall pretty good service at a reasonable cost.

Do not trust what you have been told.

8th March- attended Kwik fit. Took 1.5hr longer to track and balance my wheels. They found that my two front tyres needed to be changed which they duly did. When I got home the passenger side tyre was flat! Kwik fit mobile came out and said there was a ding in the alloy. Apparently Danny at Kwik Fit Lancaster had told me about it. Well, this was a lie. Had I been told, I would have left the car there for it to be fixed. Do not trust what you are told in terms of time expectation or completion of job. As requested by Kwik Fit HQ, I was asked to send a detailed review to Kwik Fit GQ. Unsurprisingly I have heard nothing!!!! Be warned!Edit- as per KwikFot reply just now, I have TWICE placed my feelings on the comments and feedback section of the website. Still had no reply.

My appointment was re-scheduled within…

My appointment was re-scheduled within 30min. Only got a voicemail which I barely understood. My email was not responded to - neither my voicemail I had to leave. Furthermore it is not made clear that all weather tires have to be replaced in pairs

I was very happy with the final fitting…

I was very happy with the final fitting and the service was polite and friendly but I was allocated a morning appointment, between 8.30am and 1pm; the mobile service eventually arrived at 4.15pm. At 1.15 pm I rang to check if the mobile unit was still coming - they put me through to the 'technician', who was female, but I just got an answerphone message saying to leave a message and they would get back to me. I did leave a message but no-one rang back to respond. I rang again at 2pm, a customer service man said they were not sure why there was a delay but no cancellation had been logged for any reason but he needed to check and would get back to me; he didn't. I rang at 3pm, the auto answerphone seemed to be on a 'loop' so it sounded like the phone was ringing but eventually, when the phone was 'answered' I got put back to the choice service and had to start all over again. Eventually I got through to a different customer service person (male), again very polite and apologetic service but he read the 'notes' on file and could not give me any feed-back, no reason for the delay except to say there was no reason he could see why the call would not go ahead but he needed to talk to his superior who seemed to be on a long phone call; he said he would call me back. I received a call back but just to say there was no cancellation they were aware of, the visit would still go ahead, hopefully before 5pm. The doorbell went at 4.15. It ended well and the technician (male) arrived and was polite and friendly and did the job quickly. On leaving he apologised for the long delay and asked if I had received the message about it, I said no, I hadn't; he said he had rung in to ask for me to be contacted about the delay. I think the relaying of information to customers needs looking at!

I was phoned by Kwik-fit to cancel the mobile tyre fitting service i had booked to fit 2 x new tyres, the operator did really well to rearrange and get me booked into Hexham that morning to be done, that being the case I also asked if they could track the steering and balance the two front wheels on the vehicle at the same time as they could offer the tracking service on the mobile unit. SO off i went to Hexham, they omitted to tell me there are two Kwik fit garages in Hexham I was at the wrong one. When i got to the correct garage I asked if they'd been told to track and align the steering, they said they couldn't do it as i had air suspension and i would have to take it to Land rover (what a load of rubbish) so not done, tires changed and wheels balanced asked if i wanted my invoice via email yes so tyre change ok. however when i drive the vehicle on the following Monday 220 miles there is a judder on the steering wheel at around 60 mph which wasn't there before. Not to worry its booked in at the garage to have the front discs replaced and pads fitted Friday, so I asked if they could balance the wheels and track and align the steering no problem, when I told him Kwik fit told me they couldn't do it because it had air suspension he just looked at me, that said everything really.

Won’t use again

Had mobile tyre fitted turns out they damaged the tyre when fitting so I ended up having to go to a garage anyway. Not happy as payed £20 extra to have it done mobile won’t be using again l.
